The brief
Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Western on Trent, Derbyshire, a remarkable transformation has taken place—an old building has undergone a major renovation and extension to become a modern, high-end 6-bedroom property that exudes elegance and sophistication.
This exceptional architectural project seamlessly merges the timeless charm of the original structure with contemporary design elements and luxurious features. The overall goal was achieved by creating such a bespoke luxury property and completely transforming the existing building.
The solution
We created a genuinely original scope of work to transform a 3-bed detached house into a luxury 6-bedroom home. Due to the size of the property and the sloping site, several significant structural alterations were needed, along with modernisation throughout.
Once built, we accommodated a new style of living with an open-plan kitchen area leading to spacious hallways and reception rooms. We also integrated a unique feature to capture the fantastic views creating a large balcony of the master bedroom suite. Many of the bedrooms included specialist luxury wet rooms, and the whole property benefits from adaptable mood lighting.
For the finishing touches, our specialist interior designers produced a scheme to give the property the ultimate finesse. We worked during the Covid 19 pandemic, which meant construction was put on hold, and our team overcame the many challenges to deliver the project to create this amazing home.
